The NCTA Driver of the Month program is designed to recognize and honor twelve truck drivers each year for their outstanding commitment to safety and professionalism throughout their driving careers. Collectively, the twelve drivers honored this year boast a combined total of 477 years of driving experience, averaging forty years each.
Bob Frye’s Achievements as a CDL-A
Bob Frye has been a dedicated employee of Cargo Transporters Inc. for the past twenty-four years. During his tenure, he has logged an impressive 3,143,386 miles. Notably, Frye has achieved twenty years of driving as a CDL-A driver, meeting the stringent requirements set by the American Trucking Association. This remarkable record is equivalent to making 1,186 cross-country trips from North Carolina to California.

Frye resides in Brookline, MO, with his wife Kathi. Together, they have raised seven children and are proud grandparents to thirteen grandchildren.
