Dennis Dellinger Named 80th Chairman of the American Trucking Associations

Claremont, NC – Cargo Transporters is proud to announce that our President and CEO, Dennis Dellinger, has been elected as the 80th Chairman of the American Trucking Associations (ATA), the largest national trade association for the trucking industry. The announcement was made Tuesday, October 15th, during the ATA’s Management Conference & Exhibition in Nashville, Tennessee.

Dellinger, who joined Cargo Transporters in 1986, has spent nearly four decades in the transportation industry, rising through the ranks from Driver Supervisor to President and CEO. His election as Chairman of ATA reflects his deep commitment to the trucking industry and his leadership at Cargo Transporters.

“I am deeply honored and extraordinarily humbled to have been selected to serve our association and industry,” Dellinger said. “ATA represents every facet of trucking, and our voice is one. I look forward to working with all of you to represent the millions of hardworking men and women who make this essential industry thrive.”

Chris Spear, ATA’s President and CEO, expressed his enthusiasm for Dellinger’s new role, stating, “Dennis embodies what is exceptional about trucking, working his way up from the terminal floor to the corner office. ATA is lucky to have a chairman who has seen it and done it all in this industry.”

In his new role, Dellinger succeeds Andrew Boyle, co-president of Boyle Transportation.

Cargo Transporters congratulates Dennis Dellinger on this significant achievement and looks forward to his continued leadership in driving the trucking industry forward.
