Cargo Transporters, Inc. has announced a pay increase for all Over-the-Road (OTR) drivers, effective September 28, 2025. The new base rate will rise from .60 CPM to .64 CPM, reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to its professional driving team.
This adjustment simplifies the pay structure by incorporating the former Productivity Bonus directly into the mileage rate. The change ensures a clearer and more consistent compensation package, providing drivers with predictable pay on every mile they drive.
Investing in People
“Drivers are the backbone of Cargo Transporters,” said Dennis Dellinger, President and CEO. “They are not only moving freight but also representing our company, our customers, and the trucking industry every single day. This pay increase is one way we can recognize their dedication, professionalism, and the vital role they play in our continued success.”
Cargo Transporters is widely recognized for investing in its people, equipment, and technology. With a fleet of approximately 500 tractors and more than 1,800 trailers, the company leverages advanced technology to support drivers and ensure exceptional service for customers.
Strengthening a Culture of Support
“We are proud of the culture we’ve built at Cargo Transporters, one where drivers know they are valued and supported,” Dellinger added. “This increase reflects that commitment.”
Additional programs such as the Safety Bonus, Driver Referral Bonus, and 1 and 2 Million Mile Bonus remain in place, continuing to reward excellence and long-term achievement.
Commitment to the Future
For more than four decades, Cargo Transporters has combined a driver-first culture with cutting-edge equipment and customer-focused technology. This pay increase underscores the company’s dedication to supporting the men and women behind the wheel who make its success possible.
