(Claremont, NC) Cargo Transporters, Inc., a regional and national carrier, is thrilled to announce an exciting recognition program for its Professional Drivers. The program’s purpose is to celebrate the excellence of our employees for their commitment to our values of safety, and the daily sacrifices that are made delivering America’s freight. The implementation of a Driver of the Month program begins with the announcement of the 2019 January, February, and March Drivers.
A Driver will be selected monthly that demonstrates an incredible commitment to the profession, using the criteria of the individual’s safety record, tenure with the company, and miles logged with the company. Alongside those critical attributes, the driver nominated is an all-around ambassador for the company and its customers.
Cargo Transporters’ growth over the years has been greatly determined by its ability to attract exceptional, Professional Drivers. Selected as the January Driver of the Month is Jerry Dancy. Jerry began his career with Cargo Transporters in 1997. He recently received recognition of 21 years of safe driving. He has logged 2.8 million miles and has competed multiple years at the North Carolina Truck Driving Championship, placing several times. Jerry resides in Rochester, NY.
February Driver of the Month is Bobby White. Bobby joined the Cargo Transporters family in 1992. He played a vital role in the day to day operations of the business. Bobby is a dedicated and versatile employee, which is enhanced with his can-do attitude. He has earned 19 years of safe driving. Bobby resides in Conover, NC.
John Dujardin is the March Driver of the Month. John began driving for the company in 2005. He has been an integral piece in the company’s Driver Training Program. He has trained dozens of drivers over his career. He was awarded 13 years of safe driving while logging 2.2 million miles. John resides in Shelby, NC
