Claremont, NC – Cargo Transporters is proud to announce Rob Cannon of Claremont, NC, as our October Driver of the Month.
Rob has been part of the Cargo family since March 2015 and, in that time, has logged an impressive 1.3 million miles as an Over the Road driver. He was nominated for this recognition because of his impeccable driving record and the positive attitude he brings to the job every day.
For Rob, the beauty of the open road has been one of the greatest rewards of his career. “Traveling. The beauty of it all — I’ve seen so much while driving,” he said. Along the way, Rob has learned the value of being true to himself, offering this advice to his younger self: “Take your time. Don’t follow the crowd. Be unique, be yourself.”
Rob is also deeply proud of Cargo’s focus on safety, noting, “Safety is key. I am proud to tell people about our trucks and the safety and technology that we have.”
When asked why Cargo Transporters has been the right place for him, Rob’s answer was simple: “I love my company. They have so much to offer. Everyone here makes an impact.”
