At Cargo Transporters, service extends beyond the highway. Each year, we are humbled to take part in efforts that honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. This December, we were proud to once again support Wreaths Across America, an organization dedicated to remembering fallen heroes, honoring those who serve, and teaching future generations the value of freedom.
Answering the Call to Remember
This year’s Wreaths Across America journey brought together volunteers, drivers, and organizations from across the nation with a shared mission: ensuring that no veteran is forgotten. Cargo Transporters was honored to contribute by hauling four total loads of wreaths, helping ensure they reached their destinations with care and respect.
- Two loads were delivered to a drop point in Greensboro, North Carolina
- One load was hauled and unloaded at Arlington National Cemetery by Rick Wyatt
- One load was carried as part of the official Wreaths Across America convoy to Washington, D.C. by Perry Carter
Each load represented far more than cargo—it symbolized remembrance, gratitude, and respect for those who served.
Representing Cargo Transporters on a National Stage
Being part of the Wreaths Across America convoy is a powerful experience, and this year, Perry Carter proudly represented Cargo Transporters among fleets from across the country as the convoy made its way to Washington, D.C. The convoy itself serves as a moving tribute, reminding communities along the route of the sacrifices made by our nation’s heroes.
At Arlington National Cemetery, Rick Wyatt’s role in hauling and unloading wreaths placed him at the heart of the mission—helping ensure wreaths were carefully laid at the final resting place of thousands of veterans.
A Moment of Reflection
Members of our team, including Matthew Sheffield from Marketing & PR, were on site for the event, witnessing firsthand the emotion, gratitude, and unity that define Wreaths Across America.
“Being part of Wreaths Across America is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do,” said Matthew Sheffield. “To see our drivers, our equipment, and our company play a role in honoring those who gave everything—it’s something that stays with you. It’s more than logistics; it’s service, respect, and remembrance.”
Grateful for the Opportunity—and Our People
We are deeply thankful for the opportunity to support Wreaths Across America and for the dedication of our drivers, operations teams, and support staff who made this journey possible. From planning and coordination to safe delivery, this effort was truly a team accomplishment.
To everyone at Cargo Transporters who played a role—whether behind the wheel, behind the scenes, or on the ground—thank you. Your commitment reflects the values we strive to uphold every day.
As we continue moving freight across the country, we remain proud to also help carry forward the mission of remembrance, honor, and gratitude.
