For Pat, the best part of his career has been the opportunity to see the country from the driver’s seat. “Getting to see different parts of the country” is what he enjoys most about life on the road. Along the way, he has learned patience and perspective. Reflecting on advice he would give his younger self, Pat shared: “Don’t be in a hurry, and don’t do more than you can.”
Safety has also been central to his career. Pat emphasizes the importance of attentiveness, saying, “Safety is an important aspect, you need to be observant to keep yourself and others out of trouble.”
When asked why he’s chosen to spend more than a decade with Cargo Transporters, Pat’s answer was simple: “They’ve been good to me, I know so many here. It’s just a great place to work.”
