Cargo Transporters Announces Driver Pay Increase Reinforcing Commitment to All Driving Professionals

Claremont, NC — Cargo Transporters today announced a new driver pay increase effective May 3, 2026, continuing the company’s commitment to investing in its drivers and maintaining a competitive position in the evolving freight market.

The increase represents a 6.25% pay raise for over-the-road (OTR) drivers, bringing the total increase to 12.9% across recent adjustments. Additional pay increases will also be implemented for team drivers and hourly drivers.
